In the Community

Ellis Brothers has been part of central Ohio for over 75 years. We believe strong communities are built on quality people and quality products — and that a local business should show up for its neighbors. Below are two partnerships we're especially proud of.

The Pink Truck - KCH

In partnership with the Foundation for Knox Community Hospital (KCH), we unveiled the Ellis Brothers Pink Truck — built to raise awareness and funds for the Women's Health Fund, which supports women right here in our community: the mothers, wives, and daughters we love.

The Women's Health Fund helps local women who face health risks with treatment assistance, prevention information, patient navigation, advanced screenings, and long-term education — focused on women at risk of cancer and other diseases. Depending on individual need and financial eligibility, the fund can help cover the cost of care, with decisions guided by KCH's clinical directors and financial counseling staff.

As the Pink Truck drives across central Ohio, it carries awareness for the fund everywhere it goes. A QR code on the side of the truck takes you straight to the Foundation's giving portal — so support goes directly to women in our community. Coordinating the colors with the manufacturer and developing the logos took real effort, and we couldn't be prouder of the result.

Knox County Career Center Partnership

We've partnered with the Knox County Career Center to invest in its Building Trades program — the school that's training the next generation of tradespeople in our community. We hire Career Center graduates regularly. Several are part of the Ellis Brothers team today, working as drivers and in our office.

To mark the partnership, we unveiled a custom-designed Ellis Brothers truck built in collaboration with the Career Center — a reflection of our investment in the future of the building trades and our pride in partnerships like this one.

Our donation is designated to the Building Trades student activity account, supporting drug-free programming, Building Trades Elite, and job-related essentials like boots and tools — helping students take their first steps into the workforce.
